Bières et Tentations / Bière ORJY
OrJy, born from the merger of the barley and its production site Juvigny, is a craft and local beer, created in 2015. Beer of high fermentation, it pleases by its sweetness and not by its bitterness. Blonde beer, it is a beautiful golden color revealing a taste of citrus and roundness in the mouth. Visit of the brewery. Handicraft trade, on-site bar and takeaway sales. It is available in bottles of 33 and 75 cl, barrel of 30 L with tap and refined gift boxes.
Musée du Terrain d'Aviation de Condé-Vraux 39/45
This museum recounts the history of the aviation site of Condé-Vraux and the air operations from 1939 to 1945. It is also possible to have a presentation of the regional plane MH1521 Broussard.
Musée Rural et Artisanal La Bertauge
More than 3000 tools and animated scenes of everyday life tell you the history of the Champagne countryside and the evolutions of the agricultural world from 1750 to the present day. Discover the life of yesteryear through a collection in an area of 1500 square meters dedicated to rural life, an auditorium and educational exhibitions. Duration of the visit : 1h30 to 2h
Pré en Bulles
Pré en Bulles amaze young and old with its vibrant electronic scenography about the production of champagne and its history. In Arts of the Vineyards, Créabulle, a small narrator robot, brings you into the heart of a sound and visual journey depicting the evolution of champagne from the ground to the bottle aging. Discover also the fabulous history of the king of wines. At the end of the show you will be able to enjoy a glass of champagne in our cellar and buy local products and souvenirs. The site also offers furnished accommodation, guest rooms and meeting and reception rooms.
Le Sentier du Vigneron
In the heart of the Champagne vineyards, Mutigny has magnificent and incomparable views of the Marne Valley and its vineyards. The "Sentier du Vigneron", a nice 2,2 km walking loop in the vineyards, is the must for discovering and understanding the Champagne wine in direct contact with the winegrowers. This guided tour is lined with fun and educational stations, enlightening visitors about the work of the vineyards, the history of viticulture and the preservation of its environment. You can also enjoy a convivial local meal (see brochure on the right).
Château de Pierry
Discover the Château de Pierry, a magnificent heritage from the 18th century, in the heart of the Champagne region, only 35 minutes far from Châlons-en-Champagne. Visit with explanatory booklet and map of the domain during which you will have access to the whole property. You will go through the Champagne granary, the small private apartments, the reception rooms, the Galerie des Rois with its permanent exhibition of the kings of France and the Champagne Dynasties; then the English garden, the cellar-press, the 18th century cellars, the vats room and the cellars of the Château on the theme of the evolution of manual machinery from 1750 to 1950. Phare de Verzenay
At the heart of the Montagne de Reims, the Verzenay Lighthouse and its Vine Museum immerse you in the fascinating world of Champagne vineyards through a sparkling visit. At the end of the visit, a tasting area allows you to discover the champagnes of the winemakers. New: The Lighthouse Garden! Arranged like a space at the edge of a littoral, the garden overhangs the sea of vine imagined by its founder in 1909.
Bateau Champagne Vallée
Discover the Coteaux Champenois during cruises aboard the "Champagne Vallée" boat, passage of the lock of Cumières and walk at the foot of the Castle of Boursault (when it is possible). Ecomusée Atelier de la Main de Massiges
Raymond KNEIP, Meilleur Ouvrier "Best Worker" of France in 1989, Metallic Ornemanist on the cover, presents his lifetime work. Come discover two buildings built by the craftsman himself respecting the traditions of historic buildings with local materials. You will find a rare collection of rooster cocks, sculptures and old tools.
La Cave aux Coquillages
Spectacular and educational, the "Cave aux Coquillages" (Shell Cave) highlights a fossil site of an impressive wealth. Through an underground 200m long journey, discover the fabulous history of this ancient tropical sea and its inhabitants, including the prestigious Campanile Giganteum (a 40 to 60cm long shell). A village back in 1900s on the tourist route of Champagne. Immerse yourself in the 1900s and discover the daily life at this time. Visit a typical fully furnished local house and the former school of Oeuilly. Nostalgia and memories guaranteed. Public distillation workshop is also open to the public. Entrance gives you access to three different sites. And if you're feeling a little hungry, the restaurant "Le G'Houlot Champenois" welcomes you a few steps away.
L'Atelier d'Hélène has two paintings showrooms of landscapes of Argonne (villages, ponds, forests), painting on wood (donkey, cow, chicken, goose, etc...), but also painted and decorated furniture (old school tables, buffet, chairs). Discover: the world of goblins, imaginary and naive characters, small pieces of art that each tell a story... Open everyday from 10am to 7pm with an early call.
