Musée du Cloître de Notre Dame en Vaux
Demolished in the 18th century, this medieval monument was discovered in 1963. Since it was impossible to build it back to its original location, a museum was established nearby: statues-columns, capitals and pillars adorned this unique ensemble.
This museum is housed in one of the oldest houses of Chalons. It used to be the apartment of a rich collector from Chalons.
Musée des Beaux-Arts et d'Archéologie
Created in 1794, it is one of the oldest in France. Its permanent rooms present collections of paintings (XVth-XXth century) Renaissance sculptures, objects of art and an ornithology area of nearly 2,000 stuffed birds from around the world.
