Boat Tours Métamorph’eau’ses

At night, the boat tour is sublimated by sound and light shows as well as projections, a show called “Métamorph’eau’ses”.

Metamorph'eau'ses 060 © Christophe Manquillet 15072016The boat ride, organised by the Tourist Office, allows to discover many remarkable elements of the architectural and natural heritage of Chalons-en-Champagne. At night, the atmosphere is no longer the same. The darkness comes to completely change the perception of sounds and things. This is the time of the show, light, and of dramatization of the places…

Châlons-en-Champagne invites you to a stroll between lights and shadows. Following the thread of water, on a boat or by foot, discover the city and its treasures thanks to the magic of the light.

2021, a season like no other!

plan-balades-en-barque-2020A modified route: Due to the collapse of a wall in the canal Mau, the route is modified. Boarding takes place on the Quai des Arts’ pier in front of the Tourist Office, while disembarking will be in the Petit Jard, near the Circus (you can click on the map to see the full itinerary). We recommend that you park your vehicle near the Jards (gardens).

Adapted prices: The tour is only partial, despite an equivalent duration (45 minutes long), the price of the ride is reduced: 13€ instead of 16€ for adults ; 6€ instead of 7,5€ for children.

Sanitary measures to protect you: 11 passengers maximum per boat (instead of 12 usually), wearing a mask is compulsory except for children below 10 years old.
