Musée du Cloître de Notre Dame en Vaux
Demolished in the 18th century, this medieval monument was discovered in 1963. Since it was impossible to build it back to its original location, a museum was established nearby: statues-columns, capitals and pillars adorned this unique ensemble. This museum is housed in one of the oldest houses of Chalons. It used to be the apartment of a rich collector from Chalons. Open the 1st Sunday of each month from 2pm to 6pm or by appointment calling 03 26 69 38 53 on Wednesday and Friday morning. Musée des Beaux-Arts et d'Archéologie
Created in 1794, it is one of the oldest in France. Its permanent rooms present collections of paintings (XVth-XXth century) Renaissance sculptures, objects of art and an ornithology area of nearly 2,000 stuffed birds from around the world. The Duduchothèque is a place dedicated to Cabu's youth drawings. Cabu, caricaturist and cartoonist, was born on January 13th 1938 in Châlons-en-Champagne. He died murdered on January 7th 2015 in Paris during the jihadist attack against Charlie Hebdo editorial offices. An exhibition, reading, research, animation, learning space... where you will discover how K-Bu became Cabu. Located in the Espace "Châlons, City of Art and History", this place also allows you to discover the history and heritage of the city, dear to Cabu, but not only... In a beautiful modern space, in the heart of a mansion from the XIXth century, come to discover the history and architecture of Chalons-en-Champagne, city of art and history. Enjoy a double projection movie on Chalons' urban development before you settle in front of touchscreens. Choose from videos, interactive magazines, multimedia animations and games to discover the architectural heritage and specificities of the Champagne-Ardenne capital. Children can dip their hand in the material library to try to find the materials used in local construction or disappear to the entertaining space where interactive games are offered to them! Musée du Terrain d'Aviation de Condé-Vraux 39/45
This museum recounts the history of the aviation site of Condé-Vraux and the air operations from 1939 to 1945. It is also possible to have a presentation of the regional plane MH1521 Broussard.
Musée Rural et Artisanal La Bertauge
More than 3000 tools and animated scenes of everyday life tell you the history of the Champagne countryside and the evolutions of the agricultural world from 1750 to the present day. Pré en Bulles
Pré en Bulles amaze young and old with its vibrant electronic scenography about the production of champagne and its history. In Arts of the Vineyards, Créabulle, a small narrator robot, brings you into the heart of a sound and visual journey depicting the evolution of champagne from the ground to the bottle aging. Discover also the fabulous history of the king of wines. At the end of the show you will be able to enjoy a glass of champagne in our cellar and buy local products and souvenirs. The site also offers furnished accommodation, guest rooms and meeting and reception rooms.
