Walking Trail 654 – Road of Saint Jacques de Compostella

The walking-trail 654 (WT) connects around 1 750 km, Belgium to South west of France, from Namur by Châlons-en-Champagne to link Montréal-du-Gers (Midi Pyrénées area).

Via Francigena GR 145

Follow the Francigena way « the Francs road » and walk through the middle age pilgrims traces. This big adventure will lead you to Rome after a 2 000 km journey (1242 miles).


In 2010, the Tourist Office of Chalons-en-Champagne got interested in Geocaching, a treasure hunt without treasure, new generation. Indeed to practice this hobby, you must be equipped with a hiking GPS or a smartphone with an internet connection.
